Arkaoda Berlin
Arkaoda is a bar and club for independent, experimental, and genre-crossing music.
Confirmed open against a source on 2 August 2026. Source: Neuköllnisch. 52.47389, 13.44257.
Practical
The address is Karl-Marx-Platz 16, 12043 Berlin. Current event pages show door prices of €10 to €13 on 20 June 2026, €12 on 24 July 2026, and €15 for an event on 27 August 2026, with prices checked on 2026-08-02. Some events use free entry before a set time and sliding door prices later, so the event page is the price check for each visit. The current event pages list door tickets. They give no reliable queue policy, so queue conditions are UNVERIFIED. [1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
Times and seasons
Who it suits, and when
The venue suits listeners who want experimental electronic music, live sets, and small club events. People seeking a quiet bar or a fixed music style may avoid event nights with louder club programming. A rough visit takes two to four hours, based on the listed event format and door times, and this is an estimate. [1][2][3]
What is not obvious
The Berlin venue is the sister venue of an Arkaoda that opened in Istanbul in 1999. [1]
History
The Berlin venue opened on 5 January 2018 in a former bowling alley. The opening account identifies the Berlin project as a sister venue to the Istanbul space and describes its focus on independent and genre-crossing music. Arkaoda closed in April 2024 after noise complaints and was preparing a March 2025 reopening with soundproofing and new permits. [1][2][3]
